Draft at Ewingville Tavern. Pours a fall amber copper toned body with an off white head an light lacing. Huge hoppy body grass and fruit punch tones come right off. Big fruity body with citrus, rye, fresh cut grass, and a mildly sweet fresh hoppy warming. Medium body crisp with spruce and a tropical finish. I love this beer!

Corked and caged 750 mL bottle from the brewery, purchased in July and opened 10/14/10. Pours a slightly hazy reddish copper color with a medium frothy offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Fruity, floral aroma with some citrus and tropical notes as well as faint caramel and toastiness. The taste is moderately bitter citrus and tropical hop notes with a mildly malty finish. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

On draft at Capones. Pours a clear golden coppery amber with a tiny white top which quickly fades. Aroma of sweet malt, hops and grains. Taste is much the same as the aroma with a hint of honey.

User37895 (3042) - - AUG 10, 2010
Orange colored pour, decent white head, good lacing. The aroma was strong grains, biscuits, herbal and woodsy hop aromas. The flavor followed with strong grains, rye and barley the most, strong biscuits and toffee at the fore. Finishes with a woodsy and slightly spicey bittering hop to counter balance the malts. Mouthfeel was moderate to full in body.

Bottle purchased at brewery. Light tea color with foamy head. Aroma and flavor was super grainy. Rye, wheat and oat flavor...lots of bready and biscuity flavor. Some toffee like sweetness and also a tinge if citrus. Strong finishing bitterness. Good stuff!
