DATE: October 28, 2016... OCCASION: Watching the Goonies for the first time with the kids... GLASSWARE: Orioles mug...pours a clear amber copper body that features a nice updraft of effervescence... the frothy single finger head is white and even throughout... the aroma is thick bread and caramel malts, with light herbal aromas... throaty and medium-bodied, but delightfully sessionable.. frothy on the intake... sweet, slightly nutty, and lagerish... a beer that is a great companion for Friday night bar food... versatile... I looked for this one for a while, having had it years ago, and Stoudt’s doesn’t disappoint... oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Pours a clear golden yellow color. Aromas of grass, cheerios, and a touch of flowers. Flavor is kinda sweet to start, citrusy finish with some hop notes. djd07 (14369) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 2, 2015
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is fruity hop and honey. Thin mouth, sweet fruity hop, light bitterness, light finish, good. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2015
Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Aromas of baking bread, fruity yeast, light caramel. taste is fairly balanced, slightly sweet with a crisp almost dry finish. Clean but not extremely flavorful. matty (410) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 21, 2015
12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark gold/amber color with a 1/2" thick head that settles to a film rather quickly, not much lacing. Aroma is kind of watery, a little bit of malt comes through, but not much. Taste is a little sweet, medium-light body. Drinkable, but I’ve had better Oktoberfests.

Drank out of a twelve ounce bottle, purchased at wegmans. Has a malty oktoberfest aroma. Decent taste and drinkability. A decent Oktoberfest! Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAY 9, 2015
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a clear copper color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about forty seconds leaving some light stringy lacing sliding into the glass.
The smell started off with a rich nutty to caramel presence leading into some toasty to bready hops.
The taste was moderately sweet with earthy undertones of nutty and caramel malts.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a very good sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed fairly smooth but I’m guessing this was last Autumn’s batch, so that’s no hit on Stoudt’s just the aging of the beer until this time.
Overall, an Oktoberfest in May, well cheers to that being that it held up even further than expected. I’d look forward to having this hopefully this Autumn with some pretzels and a football game. TheCaptMatey (213) - Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2014
