Draft at Fries Cafe. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white head that doesn’t last long. The aroma is lighter, with a clean malt character; pale, pils, cracker, cereal. The flavor is equally malty, with a light grassy and herbal balancing hop character. Some bitter florals late. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a clean, dry, malty mouthfeel. Really nice pils. bob_w (373) - new york, New York, USA - AUG 22, 2013
stoudts does a good job with german styles (especially their kölsch). this has got the right rich dry pils malt aroma with clean lager yeast aromatics. walking the line between apparent lightness and hearty pale malt heft. not overly bitter/hoppy. good version of the style. tripelthreat (190) - Soquel, California, USA - JUL 25, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a large sudsy white head which lasted for a bit and left some thick lacing. Nose is grainy sweetness with some earth and hop notes. More sweet than bitter in the mouth with more cereal grain and some hay. A little bitterness in the finish. Not that dry or crisp. Okay but maybe a not so fresh bottle. Bottle: The aroma consists of honey, cereal, faint fruit, and a touch of grass. It pours a transparent gold with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film. There is some thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with honey and a touch of cereal/grains. The finish has light grass, and just a touch of lemon. It’s light-medium bodied with somewhat carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, a little sweeter than I like my Pilsners. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 26, 2013
Draft at field house. Pours a clear gold with persistent white head. Nose is earthy and sweet with pils malt, honey and herbal hop notes. On taste, big and sharp bitterness, nearing harsh. Low sweetness and missing complexity and hop flavor. Doughy and just misses overall. Too bitter.

Poured as part of a flight. Not much head, light lacing and a bit of pine on the nose. Poured very carbonated, maybe too much so. A bit of lemon on the palate, light and crisp. Good hot weather beer. MUbArAKKArAbUM (25) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 17, 2013

On draft at Pony bar HK with Paul. Pours a clear golden body with thin white head. Aroma is grassy hop, crisp malt and diacetyl. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and somewhat refreshing, it the metallic / diacetyl flavor wasnt as strong this would be much more sessionable. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Straw with an golden tinge, sudsy white head, moderate, sparce lacing.   Barnish grassy nose, bright hay, not too sweet.   Smells somewhat sharp.   Dried straw on the tongue, smidgen of sweatmeal.
Has a little bit of this sweet cracker or biscuit aspect.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, perhaps a little fuller than others.   Clean backside, with lots of sweet hay.   Not too bright, but flavorful and clean.
