Pils is reflective of a traditional German-style Pilsener. It is delicately dry with a firm bitterness.Brilliant straw color with medium body, and noble hop aroma. A terrific thirst quencher. An Excellent aperitif.

Bottle. Citrus aroma. Nice yellow color with a white head that lasts a little while. The more of the beer I drink, the more I taste grapefruit, but not in a terribly bitter way. The mouthfeel is light, and the aftertaste if mildly bitter. A very enjoyable beer.

12 oz bottle from NC.
Pours with a clear, pale golden body that is topped with a reasonably durable white head.
Aroma: Hop forward
Herbal-fruity, hop forward flavor.
Light body and medium+ carbonation; dry.

From old tasting notes. Yellow gold color with a huge white head. Nice small bubbles. Light malt aroma . Sweet malt flavor upfront dissipating to a spicy hoppy entanglement of flavor. Light clinging hop aftertaste. Though lacking in complexity, it entices and pleases with a robust character.m

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aromas of sweet malt, a touch of honey and German hops. Definitely sweet malt flavor with hints of butter, a touch of herbs and cut grass. Clean mouthfeel. Nice, overall.

A very traditional German style pilsner, tasting and feeling exactly like you would expect. Nicely bitter, with a nice medium body to it.

Draught @ Albion. Clear bright yellow with small off-white foamy head, malt aroma, high carbonation, crisp malt taste, abrupt finish. Very nice specimen of the Pilsner category.

phillybass (117) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2015
This is one of the best Pilseners in America and holds its own against the best European Piseners. In my opinion this beer is based on the Stoudts Golden Lager but with more hops.
