Tap, pours a hazy amber-orange with frothy off white head, great lacing patterns and retention, notes of caramel, cherry, booze, rye, spicy hops and malt. Aftertaste is cherry and toffee alcohol. Pretty good offering, too sweet and sugary for me but still drinkable. blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 4, 2013
bottle pored an amber in color with a thin coating off of a white head. Aroma has papery hops, sweet malt, caramel, and odd floral medicine. Mouth feel is medium and there is average carbonation. Flavor is more sweet malt, wet cardboard, caramel, and funky soapy hops. dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Poured from a 12 oz into a pilsner glass. Pours a light ruby red with tons of cloudy white head. Sticky lacing from rim to surface. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and dry. Perfect amount of lacing. Very little aroma. Taste is crisp and light. Earthy hop tomes with mango, herbs, pineapple, apple, very light pine and grapes. This was a very nice surprise! I expected very little but was wrong. This beer is a very drinkable ipa/ red ale with lots of full hop flavors. Good job Stoudts!

Bottle from CBCz. Deep tawny amber orange with small sudsy white head, adequate lace. Nose is toasty malt, light butterscotch, toffee, herbal and grassy hops. Flavor is lightly sweet upfront, some light spice/rye, ends with a sharp bitterness. BazookaJoe (274) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Very basic red ale with minimal hop presence. Great full bodied taste but could use more hops.

Bottle. Pour is a nice coppery gold with a decent head and malty aromas. Kind of a biscuit and caramel nose with a little grass. Flavor has quite a bit of maltiness up front that gives way to a twangy hops presence of oranges and herbal hops. NikkTwist (3345) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Draft at Eulogy. Poured a clear dark orange red brown with a large foamy head. Medium hops meet medium malt. Juicy red fruits. Plums. Strawberries. Caramel apple. Some floral notes, even some earthy notes might be hiding in there, but mostly a gentle brown sugared IPA. Medium-light body but the sugar makes it feel fuller. #2 in the line of beers I received in a trade back in the spring pours amber frothy head, aromas are of caramel malts too bad the flavor doesn’t match the smell jrob21 (3810) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Murky dull brown color not very appetizing looking. Hop profile is also a little rubbing alcohol. I’m not making this sound very good and really this not a great beer. There is some caramel body but you are left with this band aid sort of flavor. Will never understand even using these hops in anything consummable. obguthr (6666) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUN 27, 2012
Rich aroma of dried leaves, caramel, cashews, and cherries. Hazy copper, thin yellow head. Mouthfeel is rather fizzy. Flavor is dry leaves and few of the nuances found on the nose. Perhaps a bit of dark bread crust and cashews in the end. Didn’t quite deliver on the flavor.
