12 fl oz bottle. Pours amber/hazy orane with a lacing white head. Caramel malty and hoppy aroma: spiced and fruity at once. Hoppy spiced with mild malt base. Somewhat bitter into the finish with a bit of fruityness. Almost light bodied. Ungstrup (37621) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2007
A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is very sweet with light notes of caramel and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee and caramel, leading to a dry end with notes of nuts. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Slightly hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Fat aroma of caramel and nuts and some aroma hops. Medium body with nutty accents, some caramel and bon-bon notes. Subdued bitterness. Quite pleasant. 051007 Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2009
Tap at Mudville 9. Poured a light, amber-red with a fine white head. Nose of mildly bitter hops and some malts. Flavor is a light blend of light maltiness and mild hops. Light in body, this beer finishes crisp and fine. Not the kind of beer I would order normally, but I can certainly understand this beer’s appeal as a sessioner. Not bad. fiulijn (20515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 18, 2009

Amber color; creamy head. Dusty and earthy aroma, light. Caramel flavor, rather dry, with dark caramel bitterness at the end. More a Brown Ale than an ESB. Boring.
Bright golden-amber colour. Caramelly, earthy nose. Earthy and sweet, with lots of caramel and a hint of nuttiness. Fairly nondescript, disappointing for my first Stoudts in a long while. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 8, 2007
Bottle, at Papsoe’s place. Clear, copper pour, with a beige head. Tea (Fuggles?), malt, dried fruits and some piney hops in the aroma. Sweet, caramel flavor with piny hops. Medium to full body, and a hoppy finish. Almost barley wine like, but a bit thin for that. A nice beer, still there is a slightly ordinary touch to it, but hey, I like the beer. Aromas of roasted caramel and floral hop. Slightly hazy amber color with a decent beige head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Roasted caramel flavor decently balanced by floral bitter. The finish is pretty much the same. Very English, if perhaps a bit heavy on hop for the friends across the pond. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 28, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, light fruitiness, cardboard notes and floral and earthy hints. Flavor has some sweetish malt, a bit caramelly and a bit biscuity, finishes bitter and hoppy with some earthy hops. Medium-bodied. OK, Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 14, 2005
Bottle. Dark clear amber with a average white head. Heavy hop and pine aroma. Medium body. Light bitter sweet flavor with a small bitter finish of short duration.
