Draft 12 oz pour at Stoup, listed as Stoup Porter, but confirmed to be the same. Pours a near black with a crop circle cream foam head. Very nice roasted aroma with bold chocolate. Robust roasted malt up front and throughout. Chocolate background, and threatens to be a bit smokey. Pairs nicely with Julie’s chocolate chip cookies. Thanks! On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed and slightly milky brown with a medium sized tan head that fades quickly into a yellowed tan lace. Roast and cocoa on the nose, chocolate, coffee, a bit of slow roast and chocolate. Medium bodied, but on the thin side of it, roast, chocolate, malt syrup, cocoa powder. Big roast into the finish, chocolate. Cocoa. Tasty and clean, smooth and milky.
