Black with a large creamy brown head. For a stout this one has too much fruit flavours (plums, grapes). Roasted malt with a strong lactic character, almost chocolate-milk. Not sweet. Creamy milk-ish body. If you cannot spell stout, you probably can’t brew it either. madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2006
Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Brownish fluffy somewhat uneven head. Sweet, light citric and siced aroma. Flavour is very sweet. Has cocoa notes. Fruity, full of sweet b erries and light spiced. Thin bodied. Very sweet in the end. Too sweet for me. Otje (678) - Veendam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 11, 2006
Ouch, over the top beer; too sweet and some dms, too metallic in the end! Doesn’t smell like a stout at all; yeasty and musty. Tastes SWEET....some spices and some fruit. Bit homebrew like. Not so nice. Looks great though! ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2006
Black beer with a tan head. Light roasted malty aroma with a spicy and fruity note. Quite sweet flavor with a vague roasted malty note and a spicy finish. joergen (29234) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2006

Pours with absolutely no head. Taste is sweeeet with hints of cheap red whine. I thought this was a terrible beer. Maybe I got a bad bottle, other people are talking about a head. I got none... thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 24, 2006
Dark brown, almost black, with a rich light brown - orange head. Sweet and a bit sour aroma. Flavours are sweet carame, modest liquorice and chocolate with a rather nice sour hints towards the finish. Medium carbonated, rather light-weighted. A subtle, sweet stout that impresses with its quiet complexity. cathschlag (48) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 23, 2006
Dorqui (2261) - Brescia, ITALY - DEC 20, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Bottled. Much dark mahogany color, nearly black one. Impenetrable and with a creamy capuchin head; much supporter and friable. Fresh and alcoholic scent with elevated perception of liqueur, scorched wood and coffee. Extraordinarily prickly and lively taste for a stout. Resolutely unusual one. Sour notes with licorice, bitter cacao and alcohol rmors. Elevated alcoholic perception. Slightly top heavy. Long and long-lasting end. jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - SEP 4, 2005
Bottled. Very strong and specific aroma, fruity (mainly red berries), dark malts, but not roasted at all. Very black color, dark brown head, fair lace. Very very sweet start, red berries, honey, molasses, medium body that even thin in the finish. Seems to me like fermentation didn’t finish yet, too sweet.
