Bottle. Brownish black with a frothy tan head. Aroma is sweet malt. Flavour is milky sugar, some liquorice, dark malt on a sweet finish. MrHult (467) - SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2014
Flaska från Belgianbeerz.com. Mörk nästan svart vätska med ljusbrunt skum. Doftar fantastiskt, typ pecannöt kolaglass. Smaken lever inte upp till doften. Lite sliskig men ok. jmgreenuk (9452) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Gushed a hazy dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is earthy peat dry light resin hop. The flavour is medium to strong sweet with a light creamy malt yeast bubbly palate. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. A real sugar bomb. I can feel my teeth rotting already! kermis (13444) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle shared. Pours dark brown with a big bubbly beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, alcohol, yeast. Flavor is heavy sweet like spoonfuls of sugar have been poured in. Some lactose, chocolate and fudge evident in the palate. Light bodied with high carbonation. MarcoDL (4936) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2013
The Belgians find it hard to let go their trademark sweetness in this beer. This stout is way too sweet.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. Bottled on 03/2013. Ruby very dark brown with fizzing away beige head. Smell is very grainy, cocoa powder, grainy chocolate, roast & something off, metallic, liquorish, something fermenting spoiled,… Taste is bitter grainy chocolate, high carb, thin metallic, thick liquorish, old chocolate, huge sweet banana, overripe, touch metals, touch honey, light minerals in the back,… Grainy cocoa & too high carb. Ah, messed up stout. Abijen (2571) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - SEP 12, 2013
Pours a dark brown beer with a huge rocky head. Smells malts and yeasts. Also bit metalic. Tastes very sweet, metalic and honey. Damn sweet. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture. JefVerstraete (3356) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2013
Dark brown, a lot of carbonation. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and nuts. Also malty. Very sweet taste. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 3, 2013
APPEARANCE: very dark brown, almost black beer. Somewhat of a gusher, huge unstable brown bubbly head.
NOSE: rather grainy, dark malts, rather sugary, liquorice.
TASTE: too much sugar, not that balanced, somewhat sour even (intended?). Again rather disappointed in this brewery... Though credit for getting quite some taste in a stout with only 5,5%! goozen (4071) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle 0,33ltr: Very black coloured brew have very faint sour taste in the back but for the rest nicely dry bitter.
