Bottle 0,33L. Dark, almost black beer with huge light brown head and lively or I could even say fizzy carbonation. Aroma of caramel, milk chocolate and nuts. Moderate sweet taste and aftertaste, but still acceptable for me (although I don’t like sweet beers). Carbonation is very strong in mouth, like drinking mineral water or cola with a lot CO2.. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - APR 28, 2013
Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and dark fruity yeast. Flavour is sweet roasted caramel, dark fruit, light coffee and yeast. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 25, 2013

- pours a promising opaque jet-brown with little head and rather watery MF and carbonation. Ominous sweet nose with distinct alcoholic tang for a stout of only 5.5ABV. Taste has some hop bitterness and light roast, but the caramel sugar and watery mouthfeel make this sub-par, and hard to take seriously as a stout.
coffee, chocolate, black, clear, minimal head, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, bitter, nice beer Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 8, 2013
Woohoo, just in time. After the cap is removed I was ready for the upcoming gusher, it poured black and brown an created a black beer with a big brown head that changes slowly into a fluffy big foamy island.
Aromas of metallic, some coffee with milk, (roasted) malts, french fries, grains and some floral tones.
Flavours of sweets like honey and brown sugars, some hints spices like bay leaf and a sprinkle of something clove/cinnamon a like, caramel, some bark, ligt roast, grass, light bitter, some cream and a sweet liquorice tone.
Aftertaste is a mix of sweet liquorice, brown sugars, some sweet roast and grassy grains.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture.
Bit sweet, bit roast, bit stout, decent a would say, fits the style.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2015 Color: dark brown/black beer with medium brown foam and very small carbonation. Smell: spices, malt, licorice, anise. Taste: anise, licorice, malt, really strange taste for a beer. Aftertaste: wet malt sensation and anise. Noctilucus (107) - All over Belgium, BELGIUM - JAN 15, 2013
So dark, deep black it doesn’t let any light pass through; a dark brown/red head.
Roasted scent with a touch of sour and definitely sweetness as well, really a smell of its own with plenty of character.
The taste is a bit roasted, iron-like with again a bit of sourness. There’s sugars in there as well, adding to the complex taste. It’s a little weird; not really heavy though a full taste. It’s often labeled as a sweet stout which is probably the most accurate way to describe it. Interesting taste though not for everyone and not something to drink too often either.
The aftertaste is quite smooth but long lasting, could have been a bit stronger, though perhaps that’s too much to ask for seeing that it’s only a 5.5% beer.
All in all it’s rather sweet, good and really original. Swaroga (2221) - Warszawa, POLAND - NOV 1, 2012
33cl bottle. Dark brown with medium tanned head. Nose : Chocolate, soap, cheese, some aromas of fresh coffee, apple. Sip : low to medium body with slightly oily texture. low carbonation. Overall this beer has a very little flavor in it. Not enough burned, not enough sweet, not enough smoky. Not even enough dry or smooth. All of that balanced with some strange apple background. Still all this is too balanced and mellow. The aftertaste is gone quickly. tderoeck (9735) - Gent, BELGIUM - OCT 4, 2012

Clear dark brown beer, big aery beige to yellowish head, crackling noise, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, dried fruits, some caramel, sugary, bit dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium bdoy. Taste: malts, bit sweet, some caramel, overripe fruits, hint of banana, some hops. Aftertaste: caramel, candi sugar, bit hoppy, little grassy, bitter ending, some chocolate. I’d maybe call this a Dubbel, but not a Stout, not even a Sweet Stout. There’s no coffee or mocha whatsoever.
FC Nordsjælland vs. Chelsea FC Champions League football night tasting in Odense, October 2012. Huge gusher. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee and yeast with a hint of licorice. Sweet sugary flavour with yeast and a hint of roasted malt
