0,33 bottle from systembolaget. - On the aroma this beer is heavy on the dark fruits. Slight leather and herbal hoppiness. Flavor is intense. Heavy on the dark fruits here as well. Tons of nuttiness, raisins. Not as dry as other quads, and i like that quite a lot. Delicious beer. Milter (1080) - Nyborg, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2016

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Mørkebrun med et lite rødskjær. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer lenge. Pen lacing. God maltaroma med et lite hint av krydder. Smaken balansert. Mye malt. Lett søtlig krydder. Ender opp litt tørt. Alkoholen bra kamuflert men en merker den varmende effekten. Vel mye kullsyre. islay (3125) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 11, 2016
11.2 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown with a large amount of uneven, golden taupe head. Great color of head. Good lacing. Yeasty, mineral aroma. Almost metallic in smell, unfortunately. Caramel, baked apple, and raisin (raw and cooked) scents. Dark malt flavor. A bit of roast. Tangerine. A metallic sweetness as well as some umami. Very subtle flavors. Lightly bitter aftertaste. Fizzy, lively, fluffy, and frothy in the palate. Easy to drink. I’m not feeling this one, to my surprise. I hope it improves with age. Just not much there in complexity or strength, and there are some unfortunate elements in the aroma (along with some pleasant ones).
