Reddish-brown pour with a beige head. Boozy aromas of raisins, chocolate and sweet spice. Rich flavours of licorice, toffee, chocolate and sweet spice. Quite a throat warmer. Good, long roasty finish. Nice. Beerdedone (3480) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a dense tan head. Rich malty nose with caramel, belgian yeast, raisins, and fruity esters. Flavor was very sweet with caramel, dried dark fruit, raisins, and had a touch of toffee. A decent quad BenH (3431) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 7, 2014
Bottle. Dark brown with tan head. Aroma of dried3d fruits, belgian yeast esters. Taste of dark fruits, toffee, yeast and nuts. Sweet and bitter, not really my bag. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 20, 2014
Pours dark brown with only a thin wispy head, which doesn’t seem right. Maybe a bad seal or it got shorted on the yeast? Fantastic caramel and plum aroma hits even before lifting the glass. Taste is similar with hints of roasted coffee. Feels a bit flat. Will definitely need to sample another bottle. NikkTwist (3409) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Bottle. Opaque dark brown with a big foamy tan head. Darker semi-sweet quad. Burnt chocolate caramel. Charcoal. Cardamom. Black pepper on the tongue. Oak. Plum pits. Medium full body. Complex dark elements prove a good counterbalance to the quad sweetness. Excellent.

Bogate, złożone piwo. Karmelki, anyż, masa ciemnych owoców, słodko-kwaskowate, alko grzeje w przełyk. Wrzucam kilka na leżak, jest super. TEJA (3348) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2017
Long lasting fluffy dark beige head. Clear orange brown color. Big bread aroma. with a slight metallic touch and a complex roasted maltiness. Stromng alcohole and a medium body that don’t respond to the alcohol. Roasted and malty taste but lacks a bit of caramell. Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Serving: 11.2 oz. bottle at Fire Works Leesburg. It pours a hazy brown color with a dense, light tan head. the nose is slightly spicy with light Belgian yeast notes, and a hint of banana. The flavor takes a mellow malt route with some dried fruit, dusty yeast notes, dried banana, and light bubble gum. Medium bodied with high carbonation and a slightly dry finish thanks to the high ABV. A solid quad.
