4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dark, really good beer. Creamy head. Slight after taste or would be perfect. I bought at random in a Liege Belgium grocery along with three others. This was definitely the best of the group. Not as sweet as Rochefort 10 (my favorite other than Westvleteren 12) but good enough that I will definitely recommend and buy again.
Long lasting fluffy dark beige head. Clear orange brown color. Big bread aroma. with a slight metallic touch and a complex roasted maltiness. Stromng alcohole and a medium body that don’t respond to the alcohol. Roasted and malty taste but lacks a bit of caramell. Marko (5682) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 5, 2017
Bottled at Craft Room. Brown, clear, tinged with amber, light off whitr head. Full aroma, red apple esters, caramel, toffee, malt, soft, nice! Soft malty apple ester taste, toffee, perfumy, good maltiness but flavor-wise, not heavy at all. Good strong but soft carbonation. Wow. harrisoni (18573) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2017
Bottle at the brewery Brugge. Malty aroma. Too fizzy. Dark fruits and malt aroma. Really good dark fruit chocolate cake flavour in the mouth fizzy finish. Lets it down. Good flavour though. nathanvc (493) - Brugge, BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2017
At De Republiek, Bruges. Pours hazy dark brown with a lasting, foamy, beige head. The aroma contains dark chocolate, roasted malt, raisin, caramel, spices and hops. It tastes light spicy and hoppy bitter, then medium to heavy sweet with a caramel accent. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation, light alcohol in the finish (which, for 11%, stille remains quite well hidden). A tasty brew, with elements of a Scotch; the carbonation could have been lower. drmet (964) - Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, GERMANY - JUN 13, 2017
-pours a hazy ruby-brown with a big,foamy,sand-coloured head
-black currant,bready,syrupy,faint coffee,plums,raisins
-medium to high carbonation
Goes right into a line of the great Belgian Quads. Not quite on the level of a Chimay Blue or Rochefort 10.

0.33l bottle. Very dark ruby body with an enormous light brown head. Very complex brew. It has an intense tangerine character that I didn’t expect at all supported by notes of raisins, orange zest, pepper, caramel and floral hops. Sweet from the dark malts and heavy, but because of the fruity character it’s fresh too. It definitely deserves to be among the top 50 quads. Echon (535) - Århus, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2017
Dark mahogany. Very powerful and rich, with ripe fruit, banana, yeasty spices and dark sugar. Starts sweet, and ends with a dry and lightly bitter finish with warming alcohol. Medium body, and foamy carbonation. Overall, a fantastic quadrupel. Intense, complex, very powerful and very tasty. nemma (7) - - MAY 31, 2017 does not count
