Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, overriped apple, light hoppy, moderate yeasty, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Sweet aroma of honey, spices, caramel and citrus peel with notes of yeast.
Flavour of caramel, spices, yeast and orange peel with notes of hops, alcohol metal.
Hoppy and spicy finish.
A bit perfumed.

Draught at the U.S. launch dinner at Belga Cafe with brewer Xavier Vanneste and the Belgian ambassador to the U.S. Deep dark golden color, clear, with large white head, good staying power and excellent lacing. On tap in De Wildeman. Clear amber beer. Short lived white head. Smooth semi dry palate. A little mild prickly carbonation. Mildly sweet tripel malt. Trace of estery banana. Finishes dry and a little minerally. A little bitterness too. Very drinkable tripel - not too sweet.
