Pours a dark golden with a heavy, white one finger head. Yeasty nose, nice carbonation, light fruity notes and not too sweet. Didn’t notice much of an alcohol burn. Excellent version of the style.

HourGlass13 (845) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 12, 2017
Pours golden amber with orange high lights, and a nice white cap head. Aroma is sweet like a birthday cake, with stone fruit, almonds. Taste is sweet and sticky with candied fruits, esters, and complex goodness from beyond this plane. Great flavor. Mouthfeel is crisp clean and has a great mildly spicy aftertaste. Balanced. Definitely packs a punch, but in the nicest way possible. Excellent all around.

freekyp (2192) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2017
Complex, with a stone fruit and yeast estery nose. Well blended flavors make it difficult to pick out individual components, but the sum of the total is otherworldly good, with each sip revealing new paths of flavor. Spicy yeast lends a consistent zest. Big 9% ABV is well hidden. Revel and be humbled, for you are surely unworthy mortal slime.

bottle. nice deep gold, slightly orange color. foam isn’t strong as I expected. full bodied, well carbonated. tastes slightly sweet malts, caramel, spices and slight citrus. balanced finish.

erikaraeb (138) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 6, 2017
Yeasty, burnt sugar aroma followed by a similar, yet complex, taste profile. Less yeasty in flavour than some other abbey tripels which is my personal preference. However, less of a clean finish than others, as well; layered, astringent herby notes hang around in the mouth for a while. Overall, though, a great go-to tripel.

dimeon (201) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 30, 2017
A: Dark clear orange with a large white head. N: Sweet malts T: Malt sweetness, but so much more going on. Complex citrus peel and a strong bitterness to balance the other elements. P: Full O: Excellently made tripel

schavuitje (248) - APELDOORN, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2017
This Hendrik is a delicious, solid abbey triple: full and yet supple, soft malt light sweet and spicy hop and little pepper absolutely no punishment to drink

Jimbo2 (446) - DENMARK - MAY 27, 2017
Totally decent Tripel. Light, golden, white head. Dried apples, some esters going on. Medium body and carbonation. Good.
