UPDATED: SEP 14, 2017 Tasted a lot of beers on my visit to Belgium, but this managed to secure it's spot as my favorite. Just the right balance between mild bitterness and slight sweetness, with a wonderful very foamy head and a lot of depth and interest. Very strong, compared to the non-belgian beers I'm used to, but it just adds to the character of the beer. Even the design of the glass and bottle is beautiful. Love it!

Dark orange with thick white head. High in carbonation. Apple and orange dominates the fruity aroma. The taste follows, with the delicate yeastines so typical of triples. Some sweetness at the end, balanced with bitterness. Great triple beer!

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 Bottle at the brewery, poured a bit warm to me. Amber color, clear with a little sediment, massive offwhite head. Interesting bouquet of flowers spices and spirit. Aroma classic tripel lot og grains biscuits, almonds, brandy/sherry, hazelnuts together with currant, brown sugar and candy orange. Lots of hops and belgian yeast. Taste is full, powerful, heavy and matches with the ABV, sugary and bitter, punchy and tangy. Body is full, complex, extreme carbonation which releases a lot of gas if excited, fluffy foamy texture. Finish is sharp, aromatic, burning, long with a yeasty/starchy leftover. Massive tripel, strong and serious stuff.
