Bottle at home. Hazy yellow-orange colour, with a white head with good retention. Nose is citrussy tart, little bit geuze like. Faint horse blanket. Taste is light sourness light bitterness. Green apple like notes, stick bitter aftertaste. Nice and refreshing, would say its a lighter geuze.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2017 Mooie koperkleurig Ale, wazig, volle witte foamy schuimkraag, veel koolzuur. Mooi spul!

Many thanks for this beer to JefVerstraete. Vintage 2015. Piekna spora i naturalnie wysycona piana, zapach powalaja tony moreli suszonej i swiezej.

Funky, apricot esters in the nose. Pours slightly opaque orangey amber, large head initially. Very alcoholic palate, some funky brett initially but finishes strong with bitter, oaky, dry wine flavors. Funk flavors bloom as it comes to room temp but retains a lot of the strong ethanol flavor. This is a definite sipper.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2016 Stinky brett no way around it, not my thing, but other reviews of apple and lemon are true as well. Looks great like honey in color and haze. Loads of soft serve head. Sweet berries, honey, corn flakes, the sour is there but it?s perfectly balanced. A brett beer for people who don?t care for full retard sour beers. He brett throws this one for a loop so it doesnt really remind me of a tripel, however it?s unique and the result is both tasty and satisfying. Very cool!

Visual: 2016 edition. Pours clear light copper brown with a massive long-lasting ultra foamy head, sticky lacing, super clustered active stream. Visually impeccable.

Nose: chamomile-floral, bright yeasty, elderflower (lvl-6)-pungency

Attack: very crisp, tingly

Mid-palate: lengthy (lvl-7-sweetness), tangy-prickly chamomile, heavy-sweet barley malt, pear

Finish: elderflower exhale, residual off-dry alcohol

Summary: Id be hard pressed to say I found any amount of Bretty funk in this - instead its rather clean, well-hidden alcohol, chamomile-pear malt character goes down smooth just a bit of heaviness in the mids. Exceptional quality.
