Bottle courtesy of my friend Noel. Gorgeous ruby pour with a short tan head. Aroma is fruity and boozy with melon and apple notes caramel as well. Taste is boozy and sweet with caramel, melon, dark fruit, green apple notes, vanilla and sweet malt. Body is medium-full with a dense bubbly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, strong fruit notes, vanilla, toasted malt, grains and dark fruit.

DocJitsu (2024) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - APR 6, 2014
Pours a dark, bourbon-molasses brown with a creamy khaki cap. Horehound and chocolate nose. Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Sweet chocolate, fruit, horehound, molasses, with herbal bitterness at the finish. Still, the heavy sweetness persists.

Black pour. Big, fluffy, off-white colored head. Plenty of lacing. Mostly some figs and fruit with some bready malty notes. Taste is close to the same. Malty. Dark fruits and some peach notes. Great rich mouthfeel. Pretty good beer.

Bottle. Poured brown with a creamy tan head that settled to a ring and left light lace. Aroma of toffee, and dark fruits. The flavor found an initial chocolate that turned to molasses and dark fruits. Medium body and sweet.
