COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
He Ain’t Heffe is our take on the traditional German hefeweizen. An unfiltered wheat beer, it has a big nose full of banana and clove, a light and fruity flavor and a very small hop profile. Sweet and refreshing … a great lawnmower beer!

Can. Pours a slightly cloudy dark gold with a small wispy white head. The nose is a bit heavy on the malt with some sweet caramel. Not much in the way of yeast byproducts, not especially Hefeweizen like. The flavor is just like the nose. Overly sweet with little yeastiness. This isn’t my idea of a Hefe at all. Medium bodied and a little clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty poor example of the style.

Can. Pours cloudy medium yellow with a tall white head. Good Hefe aroma banana and clove with bready yeast. The flavor is lightly sweet with a bit of bite in the finish from the wheat. Well done.

Can: Clear gold with a small, off-white head. Sweet banana, wheat malt. Banana, clove, wheat malt taste. A little light, but a good flavour. OK.

Can. Banana, clove, wheat malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet banana, clove, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Pretty good - flavor fades a bit as it warms.

weihenweizen (4043) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2016
Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Hazy deep golden with small white head. Aroma is nice clove, light body, lower carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is some clove, some banana, and some bubblegum.

Really more of an American wheat than a hefe. A bit of clove, but very little banana.

Can. I had no idea what style this was when I got it, just liked the can art. Nice hefeweizen, fairly standard, some banana, estery feel to it. Went down very easily, lawnmower beer is an apt description.

12 oz can. It poured a hazy orange gold color with a white head. The aroma was banana and spices. Overall very smooth and easy to drink.
