COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Albert. Able. Gordo. Miss Baker. Bonny. Goliath. Between 1948 and 1961 these primate pioneers and others bravely went where no man had ever gone before, paving the way for manned U.S. spaceflight. This hoppy little monkey of a beer is a tribute to those Simian heroes of yesteryear. It has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, a strong malt body and a crisp finish.

NIce fruity aroma mingled with fresh hops. Deep golden to orange color, with a thick tanish white head. Sweet malt up front. Ultra citrus and fruit tone in the malt/hops up front. Bitterness faintly steps in on the finish and intensifies towards the end. Slightly slick mouth feel. A little boozy on the finish also.

Amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly piney with a hint of fruit. Flavor is light tropical fruit with a touch of pine in the finish. Not very sticky or resinous finishes dry and bitter. Wife: 3.8

Sampled at ESBLS. A complex beer, if not a great one. Very fruity with alcohol evident. Rich malts. Not a favorite.

Not exactly my style of brew when searching out an ipa but still good. Good balanced taste. Great looking and good tasting.

Aroma - surprised by the lack of hop aroma. Definitely a piney around there, but I get more malty, bread/toast/caramel aromas Appearance - nice pale copper with a thick white head Taste - initial light bitterness ; finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter Mouthfeel - very light bodied, slightly sticky Overall: really surprised by the lack of hip presence in this beer

Hazy amber. Good head. Resiny citrus rind hops. Slightly sticky malt. solid, but not special IPA.

Can. Poured a hazy copper, with a large off white head. Nose is sweet bread and citrus malt. Taste is heavily malt with some citrus and pine hops. Body is medium and smooth. Finish is lightly bitter. Overall a bit more malty than I was expecting. Sweetness was also a little more than expected. A fair IPA.

Reddish pour from 12oz can at Villagio in Orange beach. White sticky head. Malty as hell. Aroma is almost carmel popcorn. Sweet. Bitter. Butter. Dank fruits. Interesting as hell. Grows on you

Just okay IPA. Copper colored. Lots of resin and pine in the aroma. Just a little citrus. Body was malty, caramel, and resinous. Pretty nondescript.

Tap at Hop City. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Flavor citrus and bitter hops with a hint of caramel. Light bodied. Not too shabby.
