One of my favorite IPAs brewed in Alabama. By far my favorite from Straight to Ale. The beer is exquisite, but the can is what, frankly, caught my attention. Present, yet not overpowering, citrus flavor with a rather clean finish. Great for people that like lighter ales, but not the punchy fruit flavor that usually comes with them.
nothing great going on here. aroma and flavor is overly malty. they really need to work on their balance. kind of breaddy. had out of a 12oz can in myrtle beah. this brewery blows donkey dick. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 30, 2017
Can. Pours a clear copper body with a small wispy off-white head. The nose is on the sweeter side, with caramel and slightly husky malt with just a little citrusy hoppiness. The flavor isn’t all that great, too sweet, with not enough hops, especially for an IPA. Pretty well the opposite of what I look for in an IPA. Medium bodied and a little sticky with soft fizzy carbonation. Pass. geologyguy (1583) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JAN 11, 2017

Can. Amber with minimal head. Dank, grassy, grapefruit hop aroma with a light floral honey note. Tastes like it smells with a mild sweetness but mostly bitter. Medium body with an oily feel. wombat23 (1362) - Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Draft at the source. Copper color with a white head. Fine-grained lacing. Aroma is citrus and malt with faint pine and floral elements. Taste has a little more pine and bitterness than the aroma indicates, but it also has a nice malty base. Good. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 15, 2016
Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of hops/hops/citrus and pine. Strong hop flavors with malts and a nice dry, crisp finish. Tejas (1006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 9, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2016 Draught > Proud Larrys. Wow, what a surprise this is. I ordered it taking a flyer and was hooked from the first sip. Super flowery and hoppy crisp w/ a decent malty backbone. I’m guessing Centennial hops?? This is a great IPA! Nice job straight to ale. Ratman197 (14692) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAR 18, 2016
