Keg at Na Šumavě in Prague Day 5 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 3/10/14. Clear reddy / amber coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is berry, jammy fruits, toast, nutty, sweet malts. Flavour is jam on toast, toffee, mineral, sweet and malt. Palate is smooth, semi-sweet, nice and rounded, moderate carbonation. Bit too sweet. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - FEB 19, 2015
On tap at a small Czech ski hut. Comes caramel brown with a decent sized foam crown. Malty aroma. Pleasant caramel flavour with moderate bitterness. Tendency to metallic aftertaste as it warms, but a very decent session beer. ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 25, 2014
Nagyon szép színe van és habja is kiváló. Illata és íze is kissé karamellás, de megfelelően komlós ahhoz, hogy ne legyen túl édes. Az illatában még egy kis kávét is felfedez az ember. Beerhunter111 (20467) - P´Castle, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2014
Many thanks to mmahut for this bottle. Orangebraunes Bier mit geringer beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, leicht süß, Karamell, würzig. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, würzig, leicht Schokoladearomen. bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 6, 2014
Tap at a riverside restaurant in Cesky Krumlov. Pours copper with a large off-white head. Aroma is light fruit and roasty malt. Med body. Flavor matches aroma, but there seems to be some mild spice. Finishes towards dry. Only lightly sweet. Good.

Aroma of malts, caramel, light fruits. Flavour is malty caramel, medium sweet, with a bittersweet finish. Decent, but unimpressive. gunnar (9085) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear deep amber with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, weak fruity. Taste is light sweet caramel, weak smooth mouthfeel, a bit of an anonymous beer.

Dark off-white persistent head.
Clear amber-caramel body.
Fruity scents and taste with caramel, plums, prunes, notes of butter, hops under, influenced by dark bread.
Palate is clean, fruity and normal.
Good body, hints of rubber.
Finishes sweet but also hops are still present in a fruity low-bitter way.
Plums, grass, bread, caramel.
Sceptic to half-dark beers? Not after tasting this one.

0.33l bottle. Pours a clear amber with a minimal head. Initial aroma is quite strange, almost chemical / new shoe smell, some bready malt and toffee. Fairly mild, sweet malt initial flavor, gives way to almost nothing in the middle, followed by mild, orange-citrusy hop and cloying sugar linger
Medium-full body with a slick mouthfeel and sharp carbonation, that isn’t all that lively. Overall, not a very enjoyable beer. aronvarga (441) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 12, 2014
Tap. Clear, dark amber colour, long-life small off-white head, slight toffee aroma, from light to medium body, decent fizziness, sweet caramel taste, malty palate with simply hoppy bitterness.
