Fabulously malty aroma; darker, brown-amber in colour; full bodied, nutty, malty; somewhat gassy, but subtly so; slightly sweeter aftertaste, but certainly bitter, exceptionally rich. Not too much in the bottle though yespr (45709) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2008

bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear amber colour with a lovely red glow, medium-sized creamy beige head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with a shy fruity touch and flavours of caramel and roasetd malt. Well-rounded by a good portion of Saaz hops, which results in a dry finish with some malty notes. djoeye (4615) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 8, 2014
Dark off-white persistent head.
Clear amber-caramel body.
Fruity scents and taste with caramel, plums, prunes, notes of butter, hops under, influenced by dark bread.
Palate is clean, fruity and normal.
Good body, hints of rubber.
Finishes sweet but also hops are still present in a fruity low-bitter way.
Plums, grass, bread, caramel.
Sceptic to half-dark beers? Not after tasting this one.

Draft. A dark amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and eggs. The flavor is sweet with nots of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of alcohol and straw, leading to a medium bitter finish. The alcohol tickles the tongue lightly.
