Bottle from Kaisers - very dark brown color, clear. Taste is roasted malts, a bit smoky, bitter chocolate, coffee. Very complex, which comes as a big surprise for me. Stout-like, though very moderate in alcohol. Dry slightly bitter finish. Good.

-roasty as fuck -big roasted malt, coffee flavour -molasses,rum,bread really kickin -nice,chocolaty finish though a litte to light -little undercarbonated Really weird Doppelbock. Supposed to be a Dunkel but it really feels like a Schwarzbier on steroids. good one by my local brewery

0,5 l bottle. Pours out in a darkest red brown, nearly black, oily and with a huge dark beige foamy head. Coffee nose with malt. Starts very malty with a lot of coffee but also very smooth. Later ripe banana, sweet malty and hints of smoked eel. Got a little bit thinner to the end but still a good one!

Sehr dunkelbraune Farbe, schöne cremige beige Schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm schokoladig, etwas Kaffee, gering rauchig? Geschmack kräftig malzig, Kaffee und Schokolade, etwas Vanille, geringe Rauchnoten, sehr gut!

0,5l fles bij de brouwer gekocht. Gedeeld met evert. Donkerbruin met licht bruine schuimkraag. Smaak en geur zijn geroosterd met drop en salmiak. Aangename afdronk.

Dark brown color. Frothy, medium lasting head. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste is coffee, medium bitterness. Fizzy carbonation. Looks and smells like a Baltic Porter.

Bottle from Bierland, pours espresso brown with a medium sized cafe-crema coloured head, nose is roast coffee, prunes, a little cocoa. Rich bodied, initially roast malt and coffee, then a sweetish fruity mid-body with sultana and toffee notes, and finally a dry-sweet and faintly hoppy finish with a hint of cocoa. The aftertaste is a little too syrupy, but the edge of burnt treacle and an emerging hop bitterness cuts it reasonably well.
