COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is what we had intended to brew when we made Genesis. Serving as our flagship ale, 24th Street Pale contains exactly the same hops but is less malty than Genesis which leads to less masking of the hop profile. It’s a smooth little Pale with a bitter finish. Slightly floral, slightly fruity. It is dry and drinks quickly.

On cask, poured by the brewer. Hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Hoppy nose, a little citrusy, a little spicy, a bit toasty. Taste is citrus, hoppy and pretty great for a cask pale ale. Minimal carbonation. Good.

Pleasantly spicy hop notes waft out of the pillowy head. Orange/amber color with a smooth malty backbone. Tastes like bread, whole grains, and caramel. A faint dry bitter finish lends nicely to the balance of this new LA beer.

Poured from the bottle. Nice head, nice copper colour. Aroma isn’t too hoppy. Some citrus and floral hops. Flavor is so mildly bitter. The body is thin, this is closer to a session pale ale. Very easy to drink but still tastey..

One pint, nine oz bottle into a UK pint sleeve on 26th April 2016 in Laguna Niguel, cheers daughter for treating me to this. Orange hue to the clear amber body, beige head that tried to hang around. Hops all the way here with a semi-floral nose and a fairly bitter hop flavour. The malts do blend in nicely to balance the bitterness a little and the alcohol is just about noticeable within the brew. Liked it, pity about the ’hogwash’ on the label highlighting the breweries location and how lovely it is.
