Bottle shared at the end of an epic boozing session, thanks Neil. Fresh grapefruit character, juicy mouthfeel, caramel malt, green citrus peel, dry hoppy finish. Pretty good stuff as far as my exhausted palate remembers. willisread (3544) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 9, 2016
Thanks for sharing Neil! Pineapple and grapefruit on the nose with some orange zest as well. Biscuity malts, but not heavy in anyway. Very drinkable with good piney bitterness. Almost like a hoppy red ale. Bitter finish. Tasty. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAR 8, 2016
Bottle. Thanks Borann! Nice stuff. Tropical fruit, light biscuity malt, very easy drinking.

Pours two fingers of head on a clear dark straw to red body.
The aroma is dark fruits.
The taste is malty sweet balanced with some pine and grapefruit bitter. Tends malty.
The texture is softer.
Really enjoyable. bulldogops (2726) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 2, 2016
Rating #1615 - 01.05.2015 - Bottle from San Diego. Clear golden amber pour with a decent white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with floral hoppy overtones, grapefruit, citrusy, piney, caramel malt. Taste is more of the same, dry piney hops and caramel malts dominating the flavour, with a hint of sweetness. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

Tapped out a deep amber, almost brown. 18ºSRM
Nose is floral with lavender, orchids, nutmeg and a little wee bit spicy!
Mouthfeel is soapy. Dark malt flavors of toffee, caramel, again with a the spicy nutmeg, hint , very very subtle hint of cinnamon, cloves maybe with some nice broad nutty flavor notes of toasted cashews. There are some nice black bread and even pumpernickel flavors.
Hops are resinous, pine and hyssop bitter for a long slow finish to a very very satisfying end. You need something fatty and salty to cut this....wagyu beef kushiyaki.

Pours a deep copper with medium off white head. Grapefruit and pine dominate with a caramel malt backbone balance. Decent. 3BBrewing (7) - California, USA - MAR 10, 2015 does not count
Have had a couple of bomber bottles of this now.
This beer pours a crystal clear considering that it’s unfiltered. The color is a light amber to orange hued beverage. There is a small white head that dissipates in a minute or two to a light skim. There is some lacing down the sides.
The aroma is of strong tropical fruit, most prominent to me is pineapple. I do NOT pick up any resin or spruce/pine notes. There is some light malt aroma but hops dominate.
Mouth feel is a medium to medium heavy with appropriate carbonation for the style.
Flavor is dominated by tropical fruit hops right up front that carry on through to me. Very little malt flavor. There is a mild lingering bitterness that’s a little "piney" but nothing over the top.
Overall the beer is a nice drinkable American IPA but nothing that really sets it apart from other typical IPAs.
