never in my life have i smelled a beer that smells exactly like brie cheese. This bitch nails it, perfectly. Pours a cloudy slightly pinkish gold with just a white ring for a head. Aromas of pure cheese. Bacterial funk. Taste is cheese mixed with cherries. Pretty amazing. Finsishes dry with a slight pucker. Plenty good and refreshing. 10th rating of this bad boy. Bottle. Cloudy orange yellow color, small off pink head that settles quickly. Aroma of feet and belly button, not overwhelming. Taste is lacto sour throughout, and the cherries sneak in toward the finish. Decent enough. JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - OCT 30, 2013
Bottle shared by a friend. Hazy amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, funk, toffee and fruit. Malty flavor with toffee candy accents (Werther’s Original) along with some fruit before a tart, toffee finish. The flavors don’t really blend well together. tgncc (3135) - Bellmore, New York, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Via trade with LostHops287. The aroma is sour, vinegar, tart cherries. The appearance is slightly hazy gold/orange, white head. The flavor is tart cherry, sour, leather. The finish is sour, acidic, tart cheery. Medium in body, a tad thin. Not bad at all. StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - SEP 8, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2013 500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with small white head that immediately fizzes away to nothing. The aroma is somewhat unpleasant with hay, old cheese and diapers. The taste is much better with pleasantly sour lemons and cherries set in a biscuit malt base. The palate is light with lively carbonation. Finishes long and tart. Overall: Decent sour, but the nose is horrible.

30 aug 2013, bottle. Light gold and a bit hazy. Nose is rancid! Like sweet vomit. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Nasty! Absolutely disgusting! Sweet vomit.

Bottle from CraftShack. Pours very hazy amber with an off-beige transient, foamy head. Aroma is sort of tart, with mild cooked cherry. Med body. Flavor is tart. Not harsh or sour, but tart. Cherries are very low key. Nice drink. It’s coming on a bit sour with time. There’s a little caramel - which seems inappropriate for the style. Nice mouth effect with each quaff. Hazy golden orange color, moderate head, average lacing and retention. Truly offensive aroma, it smells dangerously similar to vomit. Medium light body, very light tartness with a hint of cherry, repulsive vomit type flavor dominates. Despite the dismal rating, there are beers out there that I’ve rated lower (mostly pale lagers) that I’d drink in a second over this. Couldn’t finish more than a few sips. I was careful in selecting my ratings, I generally save a 1 for something that’s either completely empty or really offensive. wutangfinancial (202) - CA to VA, California, USA - JUL 29, 2013
Pours a hazy light peach color. Nose is light bile, acid, yeast, very light red fruit and citrus. The palate is flavors of wheat, acid, light lemon and not much else. The finish is dry and medium length. Did not get much cherries from this. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours with a hazed peach hued color with a fizzy white head that fades. Aromas are of sourdough bread, lactic acid, relatively strong butyric acid (vomit), pie cherries and baked bread. The vomit smell is a bit overwhelming for me. Flavors are of lactic acid, grainy, toasty, lots of apple esters, mild lemon, lighter butyric acid. Really not my thing: sour mash gone wrong. Cherries, a bit harsh, lightly vegital. To be honest, this is really not good. Lively carbonation, medium dry.
