Great second offering from Stange Brew, a DIPA no less! The glass is oozing with heavy citrus aroma, invites you to sniff until your nose drops. Flavor is less fruity, with a subtle malt presence, thankfully it lacks the heavy caramel notes that come with such recipes. Alcohol seems like it stings more than I would like, without being annoying though. All in all an excellent brew, which I will revisit every chance I get. Pours into a snifter. Hazy golden colour. From the very first sniff, the hops are out there, standing their ground. Grassiness, spicy and pinaceous notes, accompanied by some fruity undertones (mango). No alcohol detected. Bittersweet taste with a rather full mouthfeel and body. Again here, spices, pine, and we could go out on a limb in admitting that there is some peach wellness (!). The ABV is well masked, rendering the ale deceptively drinkable. Semi-sweet aftertaste and somewhat fruity. Well done, Strange brewers!
