Nose of grass and tart strawberries with a little nectarine. Dry mouth with a resin back. The back taste doesn’t linger like some more Lupulin-y beers. A good go to American IPA. onceblind (10897) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 15, 2011
On tap @ Hops and Pie. Really not as hoppy as the description states. Clear amber color with a thin lacing head. Aroma is leafy and herbal with a gentle hop bite. Taste is smooth, balanced, and sweet with a strong toffee malt backbone throughout. Leafy and lemony hop tones shine through in the middle, with some floral complexities behind it. Smooth and nuanced, with a bigger dose of toffee than I’m used to in IPA’s and I love it! Ratman197 (15635) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAR 27, 2011

10 ounce pour at Hops and Pie. Darker copper with just a little haze. A beige head. A citrus aroma. First sip is a bitter citrus hit but that fades too quickly. Tropical fruit follows with some pine behind that. This is better if you put it down and come back to it. Then that first hit repeats itself over and over. On draught at Hops & Pie. Clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and toasted malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, citrus and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall. Draft - Resin and caramel. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Resin, light bitterness and caramel. Not much interesting going on, but a very easy drinking IPA. emmasdad (85) - , Colorado, USA - JUL 9, 2011
