On tap at Strange. Darker orange, almost amber. Very dull smelling like a hint of malt but just boring. The flavor was just as lackluster, I wondered if it was supposed to be English style. The best way I could think to describe this beer is a shitty version of Full Sail IPA which is sort of a blah IPA in its own right.

My palate prefers their pales to the IPA but this is solid nonetheless. Hop bite is medium and the aroma is in that range too tomciccateri (1034) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - OCT 13, 2012

Draught as part of a flight, at the Strange tap room, on October 6, 2012That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Clear copper color, off-white head. Malty, hoppy, floral taste. Hoppy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Fruity, hoppy scent.
Part of a flight at the brewery. Bright, clear orange pour with a fizzy head that is a bit sticky. Aroma of grassy hops, light malt, and lightly metallic. Pretty earthy, hoppy flavor with a metallic sting in the finish. A bit oxidized but still drinkable.

On Tap at the brewery. Golden orange with a small off-white head and decent lacing. Citrus, fruity esters, banana, and light grapefruit in the aroma. Taste is sweet fruits, banana, spice, citrus, and biscuit ending lightly bitter. Light body with medium carbonation. Meh. BlackForestCO (978) - Aurora, Colorado, USA - APR 7, 2012
On tap at they brewery. Poured a clear copper color with a moderate off-white head that slowly faded to a thin layer and left some thick rings of lacing. Aroma of much of the same dank hoppiness present in the ipa, leafy, piny, and citrus fruit. Smooth, sweet entry with a soft fruity sweetness leads into a moderately bitter hoppiness with a nice leafiness along with a more refrained pine flavor that lingers into the finish. Low carbonation and moderate mouth feel that is complimented by the dry hoppiness. Overall, a little more bitter, less perfumy version of the pale ale. That’s good in my book. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 7, 2012
(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of grass, caramel, mango, and citrus. Flavor of grass, caramel, pine, and citrus with a dry, bitter finish. rhialistic (156) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 30, 2012
On tap at Strange. Pours a pale bright amber with a lacy off white head. Citrus hops with lots of sweet malt in the aroma. Drinks much the same way, lots of malt to balance the hops. Med. mouthfeel, low carbonation, smooth, balanced. Sweet with lingering grapefruity taste. The Pale Ale has a lot more in the way of hops but i like the malt balance in this IPA a lot better. brinehart (213) - Colorado, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Average hop aroma and flavor - therefore an average IPA. Certainly a nice, balanced drinkable IPA, but not noteworthy - especially compared to the Cherry Bomb and the Farmhouse ale.
