On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear golden with a big white head and great lacing. Musty, biscuity, straw, lightly grassy, a hint of pepper, and skunky aroma. Taste is grainy, straw, light grass, biscuit, dough, husky spice, and bread. Light body with high carbonation. Meh. jtclockwork (16684) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 10, 2013
Draft. Pours clear orange with white head. Nose and taste of lemongrass, orange and Belgian yeast. Lighter medium body. Dry. notalush (5883) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2013
I am entering this rating here, even though the beer is listed as Juliette Belgian Pale and the abv and ibu are ever so slightly different - lightly hazy gold - minimal lace - nose of coriander, light starchiness, mild wheat, light pepper - flavor is medium dry, with the odd starchiness that I sometimes taste in poorly made belgian ales - the middle and finish redeem the beer a bit - very dry, lightly flinty, with a crisp bitterness and light mineral bite on the end - the finish is actually quite nice - starts weak and ends strong. onceblind (9858) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 23, 2013
On tap at Strange as "Juliette Belgian Pale". Clear golden with a thin white cap head. Aroma was faint but earthy and spicy with notes of peppery soil. Flavor was thankfully more nuanced with pale malt building the base, with Saison yeast pepperiness on top with some Belgian fruity esters like pear and tangerine, with a touch of rosemary.
