On tap at Strange brewing poured a clear dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of charcoal, roasted malt, earthiness, coffee, pine and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, earhiness, pine and grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish. On tap as 6% with 60 IBU. Deep brown like a porter, with a light khaki head. Aroma of pepper, some ilght chocolate, lemon zest, and dark malt. Taste is pretty peppery, with some green hops, funky black malt, and a touch of lemon zest. Not sure how to feel about this one.

On tap @ Strange Brewing. Dark brown black appearance with a smallish light brown head. Dark roasty malts and mild evergreen hoppy nose. Well carbonated and a bit creamy mouthfeel. Pitch black pour with a thick tan head. The nose is a very hoppy with a distinctly earthy/minerally hoppiness. A little cocoa and earthy hoppiness. Pours dark reddish black with off white head on tap at Strange brewing. Aroma has notes of roast, toffee, some slight pine needles and grass notes with some coffee. draft. neutral nose: milk powder yeast, mild roast, very minimal aroma hops give off a spicy mint leaf scent. buzzing hop acid with medium sweetness but it’s covered with and muted by dirty yeast - sludge, mud, acid, the whole deal. mild roast, flabby finish with gritty sand and soil flavors. Hop and roast aromas. Black fruity a little rich on the palate and hoppy with a hint of dryness in a bitter roast finish.
