COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stratford Brewing Company’s signature beer is Stratford Pilsner. Brewed in traditional style using all-natural ingredients, Stratford Pilsner is as smooth and graceful as the swans floating down the Avon River. Golden amber, crisp, and always fresh, it’s a beer that you’ll enjoy anytime, any season. Stratford Pilsner is brewed in small batches in our Stratford brewhouse by brewmaster Alan Peterson. We use only the finest malt, yeast and hops and follow traditional methods of brewing to produce a first-class pilsner. Stratford Pilsner is brewed using Stratford water, which is drawn from deep rock wells that are cased in bedrock.

Light malty flavour. Clear straw colour. Flavour of biscuit, malt, and bread. Light body with mild carbonation. Pleasant to sip, but not too demanding.

Bottle from Handlebar, Toronto. Medium carbonation. Taste like a sweeter Molson Canadian. Not impressed.lots of hipsters in here haha

mcberko (18960) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2017
473mL can, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out grassy notes, some cabbage and straw. Flavour is along the same lines, with grassiness, cereal, straw and some cabbage. A little too skunky, not grassy or biting enough. It’s okay.

Listigovers (1312) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2017
Pretty grainy taste but very light but with sweetness at the end. A bit of hop character, drinkable.

Tranquillity (2508) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2017
Draft. Clear body with a medium sized white head. The aroma is lagery with yeast. The taste is malty and fresh. Nice mellow tones.

Un-Muzzling Olde Muzzlehatch Ratings, #26. Draught pint at Volo in Toronto, July 2008. Pours dark amber (a pilsener?) with very little head (a pilsener??) which doesn’t last...nose is basically all buttery diacetyl (a pilsener???) with little discernible malt or grassy hops...body syrupy to start (a pilsener????), thin towards the finish, very little flavor of any kind...BLLECCHHH.

A pilsener?????

solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Actually a lot more decent than I hoped for. Smell is a little malty, pours golden with no head. High carbonation. Taste has a definite bitter crsip at the end. A little grain musk as well. Not bad.

kevinsenn (2289) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 8, 2012
On tap at "The Parlour" in Stratford. Clear pale yellow. A mild grainy pilsener with a hoppy finish that ends off quite bitter. A perfectly fine pilsener.

2.3
AWS9 (742) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 13, 2011
Bottle. Pours a rather bland gold. Somewhat bitter grassy hops. Wheat... Fairly bland lager. Would’ve scored it lower, but the hops seemed more noticeable when I had another bottle...

2.4
fullers (269) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2011
Bottle The Emmet Ray, College Street, Toronto. Pours golden amber with medium, fast disappearing head. Fruit notes in faint aroma. Slightly acidic, pronounced carbonation, quite full bodied for the style.
