Cask by handpump at Pot Still, Glasgow - clear golden amber, thin creamy off-white head, floral aroma, high carbonation, initial sweetness, somewhat bland, mild citrus, thin bodied
Cask at the George. Clear golden with a small white head. Faint aroma of fruit and pine, matched by the flavour which also has malt and earthy notes. Ok BeardedAvenger (1022) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2016
Tap at Sanderling, Glasgow Airport. Vague malt\mold aroma. Bright gold. Flat. Creamy not quite white head. Light bitter, some hops in finish. Otherwise malty. Somewhat watery, rescued by soft mouthfeel. Bland. scotty (1221) - SCOTLAND - MAY 12, 2016
Pint, Crusoe Hotel Lower Largo. Nice hoppy brew, good balance of sweetish malt. Nice! ManVsBeer (10926) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2016
Halifax & Calder Beer Festival 2015. Copper-amber coloured ale. Has a sugary sweet nose that’s similar in taste but slightly less stated, although still stated enough. Graham77 (514) - SCOTLAND - JAN 6, 2016
Cask at the Pot Still, Hope Street, Glasgow. Amber with a decent white head. Pretty average really. Not much aroma to speak of, the taste is more Golden Ale than IPA.

Cask at the Glasgow Airport Wetherspoons gaff. Pours a yellow shade of orange with a persistent, thick white head. Aroma is bread and slight toffee. Taste is ’wonderbread’, slightly bitter, a hint of malt sweetness in the background, much old world hops detected - very earthy. allmyvinyl (10912) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 2, 2015
Cask at the Corstorphine Inn. Pours clear golden, thin, cracked white head. Arommas of butterscotch, malt, light lemon. Taste is lemon barley water, touch of malty butter. Light body, clean finish. jjsint (3425) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2015
Cask at the Laurie Arms, Haugh of Urr. Gold with a medium white head. Very slight aroma, some sulphur and tangerine but you certainly have to work for it. Bittersweet orangey taste with hop bitterness taking the lead at the end. A decent ale, though not overwhelmingly interesting by any standards. prawlie (1643) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2015
Bottle into a pint glass. Orange-yellow with a fluffy head. Pine, earthy hop aroma. Smooth, light bitter maltiness with good body. Reasonable stuff but lacks imagination. Maltworm01 (7) - - NOV 21, 2014 does not count
A very nice example of a British IPA, floral hoppiness and a light maltiness make this a very drinkable blonde. Bought at Britische Biere am Volksgarten, Emmastrasse 25 in Düsseldorf Germany. The only place in germany to buy Strathaven beers.
