Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley (JDW) on the 2nd November 2017. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale orange amber in colour with a thin creamy white head. Malty aroma with a note of ginger coming through. Thin creamy mouthfeel and excellent lacing. Pale malt gives a gingerbread base note with raisin fruit evident. Slight hint of black pepper to the spicy background of hop resins, fading in the short bitter aftertaste. Finish is malty with dry citrus pith present in the mouth. A decent session bitter. john44 (3456) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2017

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford. Poured a clear copper, with a thin white head. Aroma of spice, ginger and floral hop. Pretty reminiscent of a pumpkin ale, with the flavour, also notes of caramel, herbs and grain. Finish was grassy hop, toasted malt and toffee. berkshirejohn (6760) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2014
Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber with a tight cream head; aroma of ground ginger and cinnamon; sweet in the mouth with some gentle ginger and spice; and nicely bitter with a malty ginger parkin finish. I’m not usually a fan of ginger beers, but this one was quite drinkable. ManVsBeer (11126) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2014
Cask @ Stick or Twist, Leeds. Dark golden with a creamy head. Has a fair amount of ginger with a medium spiciness for it. Bitter in style.

Cask at Hamilton Hall JDW, London. Bitter rating #150. Cloudy orange, still, small scummy off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is clearly spiced … I struggled to pinpoint it but it suggests parma violet, pot pourri, bubblegum, guava and incense. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste has more of that spice (cardamom maybe?), mint, quite medicinal. It has a strong flavour and aroma, but it’s just not my sort of thing - too medicinal. But good to see something different. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2014
On cask at penny black, northwich. Amber pour and an unusual spicy taste. Weird but nice Leighton (22773) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2014
Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Certainly some ginger in the nose, along with pale bread and lemon zest. Medium sweet flavor with sugary white bread, moderate spicy ginger, crackers, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Sweet finish with some doughy biscuits, juicy ginger, mellow spicy zing, some citrus notes. It gets the job done. RichTheVillan (8443) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2014
Cask at JDW Briar Rose; clear golden amber pour with a creamy white head, quite a floral spicy aroma, taste has a hit of ginger along with some caramel and mashed digestive. harrisoni (19534) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2014
Cask handpull Crosse Keys Spoons. Clear dark gold thin white head. Slight perfume slight smoke aroma. Not great condition. I quite like the flavour development. Perfume ti spiciness. Not terrible. It’s ok some ginger. Not my favourite but it holds together and the bitterness on the finish is good.
