Cask at GBBF. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is quite muted, toasty grain, cereal, porridge and white bread. The taste is dry, straw, grassy, grainy, earthy, cereal and soapy citrus with a drying finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Basic gold by all accords.

allmyvinyl (10687) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 29, 2014
Cask at Cloisters. Clear gold pour, thick white head. This was basically just a buttery-biscuity mess of a beer. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Oakes (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 3, 2014
Toasty character, some biscuity malts, light tan, low bitterness, balanced but it’s not grabbing me.

Subtle smell. Slightly cloudy light brown in colour. Very sharp taste. Quite bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
