I gotta go with the local brew
made in PA and sold in a plastic bag!! Now that is class krisfleet (130) - Sharon, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 26, 2002
Drinkable clean tasting beer, without much aftertaste. Better than Rolling Rock, but perhaps not as good as Yuengling. A descent PA beer. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2002
Not bad when you get it fresh, and cold (it’s really bad when cool-warm). A little too sweet, sort of corny (but they don’t add sugar or other preservatives). 75% of this beer is consumed in St. Mary’s. Apparently, they have an ’Eternal Tap’ where visitors can go and pour themselves a free one. Average lager. Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - MAR 14, 2002
very light malt flavor, very little hops. beautiful clear golden color. went well with pizza. An average drinkable brew. To buy this or a macro? well, this of course! gotta support the little guys! Drinkingdan (375) - East Norriton, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2002
I don’t find anything special about it.
ravidesai (978) - Bombay, INDIA - JAN 31, 2002
fairly standard yellow colored lager. not exceptionally good but a steo up from the macro breweries.
rather watery and bland but it does have some malt in it.
from one of Pennsylvania’s regional breweries so this is usually quite fresh. Norton (333) - Southside, Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 19, 2001
HEY! Not bad at all! Had this when in school in PA quite often. Delightfully light yet hoppy and crisp. There are far worse beers around than this. 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2001
More beer in a bag. Tastes bad, but has a good all american name to it. The bag is ingenious though. FUNK (120) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2001
This stuff had only a very vague skunk smell and tasted like waterdowned crap. Its one redeaming quality is that it comes in a platic bag with a draw string. The idea being you put ice in the bag with the beer to keep it cold. I have to respect that idea. Andrew196 (1902) - Katy, Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2001
Not BAD. There are definitely better lagers than this, but I would actually pay to drink this beer. I knew a guy from St. Mary’s PA who swore by this stuff, but decide for yourself.
