Pale straw colour. Aroma of corn, with possibly some fleeting grassy hop. Sweet, watery palate. Finish of corn and water. Not awful, just empty. Tmoney99 (14948) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 19, 2008
Bottle from Drjohnrock. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet grainy aroma. Light body with a thin texture. Light sweet sour citrus flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Drinkable pale lager. Lubiere (14150) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 24, 2003
Rather non descript yellow lager with grassy nose, corny taste, little body. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 4, 2010
12 ounce can from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear medium golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and poor lacing. Fairly straightforward toasted malt aroma with a faint grassy finish. The taste is grassy with some apple like fruit notes and faint malts in the finish. Thin bodied. Not bad for a macro lager. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2006
This brew is a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates pretty fast. Minimal lacing. Typical Lager aroma of malt, grain and light hops. Light-bodied and crisp with mild grassy hops, corn and malt flavor. The finish is mildly bitter hops and the aftertaste is actually decent, saving the beer from being a compete snooze.

GBof A PA-on tap-pours a white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. shrubber85 (11615) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Bottle. Light corn and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet corn syrup and barley malt flavor. Light bitter hay finish. One of the featured beers at the 1983 GABF - must have sucked being a beer drinker back then. Luckily I waited until 1984 to start. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 28, 2006
Draft... GBOA ’06... Clear straw-colored lager with a small, fizzy, white head. No aroma that I could pull from the glass... even when warmed. Lots of acetaldehyde in the flavor. Decently balanced regarding sweetness vs bitterness. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Green apple, plasticy finish. DocLock (11020) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2004
Pours pale gold. Not much in aroma. Flavors of creamy malt, slight hops, and a smooth finish. According to my father, diabetics drink this beer a lot, and it isn't too bad. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 20, 2010
Can thanks to tastybeer! Dude is busting out some rarities! Straub pours a clear straw with actually a dense, rocky, two-finger, eggshell head that has excellent retention and spotty lace. Apple cinnamon aroma- mmmm. Taste is almost non-existent. Sort of like an N/A beer. Watery, semi-sweet, most void of any character. Unoffensive. Not bad for $17 for a 24 pack.
