bottle @ House of 1000 Beers / New Kensington PA --- Aroma of lemony malt. Hazy medium / light amber color, foamy white head that is slow to drop, strips of lace. Taste is thin malt that grows substantially in a medium fizzed swallow, spice, especially coriander, bursting in on the way to a semi-sweet, lingering finish. A nice standard-issue Hefe. Bottle. Hazy golden pour with white head. Nose was lemongrassy hops, pale malt, mild floral and spicy notes. More hops and florals in the taste. drtth (30) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2016
While this beer lacks a few of the charactristics of the German Hefewizen style (e.g., cloudy appearance) it is a tasty beer and quite enjoyable. In general I prefer this style with little banana and this one fits that. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2016
out of the bottle in my hotel room, no idea what date stamp 052115S means... maybe May 32, 2015????? proally so its old as dirt. Some clove, banana, and bubble gum in the nose. Taste is wheat, some banana, and bubble gum. Light to medium body. aight. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 26, 2015
Surprisingly the best in the sampler. The wheat adds nicely to their water profile and overall brewing style.

Gold pour with white fluffy head. Wheat, banana, clove, and yeast in the aroma and flavor. Typical hefe, nothing special. Too sweet at the backend. jsporrer (1040) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 28, 2015
Pours a cloudy medium straw yellow. Not much of an aroma. It looked like a typical Hefeweizen but really lacked in flavor. This is one of my favorite styles of beer and I was disappointed. I was expecting the sharp clove and smooth sweet banana flavors as described and common to most beers of this style but got nothing. It was not thin and had some body but almost no flavor at all. Very blah. Drinkable but I think I’ll stick with the traditional German brands for now. beerme31 (686) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - JUL 18, 2015
Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy golden, medium white head. Aroma of cloves, spices dominate with some banana. Medium sweet taste. Medium light body, average carbonation, spicy light bitter finish. cheap (5912) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2015 On tap & free at the eternal tap. Big fresh bubblegum and banana aroma. Taste is the same. Fresh bubble gum and banana. Quite good! Lots of foam on the head of this one, keg must have been getting low, it was spitting. Yes, could not feel or taste the original straub attributes in this one. Quite acceptable and friendly fer sure. Glad to have the chance to taste this baby, very pleased. IMHO a very good example of the style, refine and civilized, yesserrie. Luvystypotables (1993) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - MAR 3, 2015
Pours a hazy straw color with a short lasting white well laced head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, bread, clove and a hint of banana. Creamy medium bodied feel with a taste of banana, clove and dough with a banana clove finish.
