Hazy, light amber appearance with a medium size off white head and decent lacing. Toffee-ish, caramel malt aroma. Tame, bready, slightly sweet flavor, modestly balanced by floral, spicy hops. Light-to-medium bodied mouthfeel with average carbonation leading to a short lived finish. Thanks, Wally! Oakes (17642) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 13, 2016
Amber, stale c hop nose and flavour. Slightly sticky malts. Gotta tighten up that supply chain, get some fresher hops on this. NikkTwist (3218) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2015
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2015 Draft at Milkboy. Mostly clear yellow caramel pour with tons of lasting off-white foam. Feels like a full lager. Honeycomb. joejames (510) - Jacobus, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2015
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours slightly hazy golden, 1 1/2 finger white head. Nice lacing and some retention. Aroma of spruce and hay. Taste of moderate sweet malt and decent bitterness for the style. Light bodied, medium carbonation, mouth feel is slightly thin maybe an adjunct grain there. Finishes moderately bitter. Tasting notes of bread, buttered popcorn, citrus and pine. This isn’t bad for what it is. Luvystypotables (1960) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Aroma of hops and pine, pours a golden color with medium carbonation and a lasting white foamy head. Tastes of hops and hints of pine resin, dry feel, medium boy with a chalky finish.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a bright orange color with a small white head. A odd really meaty nose. Caramel and tea. The flavor is more caramel, tea, some toast, oranges, marmalade, more meaty undertones. Drinkable. In fact, pretty decent. Braudog (6710) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - OCT 2, 2014
Bottle. Nice golden, hazy pour with a frothy top. It’s got a nice fruity aroma. This drinks quite nicely, too ... with a decent all-lager base, but a citrus-fruity hop flourish, too. Nice beer. (#5767, 10/2/2014) Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 28, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange-copper color with a one finger foamy white head. The head fades slowly over time to leave a good level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is a nice blend of hop smells consisting of some grapefruit citrus, earthy, and floral aromas. Along with these smells are notes of some sweet citrus of a tangerine nature as well as some caramel and bready aromas.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready and caramel flavor matched by some hop flavors of an earthy and grapefruit citrus nature. As the flavor advances more caramel as well as a lighter fruit flavor comes to the tongue. Along with these flavors other hop tastes of a floral and even more grapefruit nature comes to the tongue. Some yeasty flavor develop during the taste and combined with some pine hop flavors as well. With the sweeter flavors of the brew dwindling a bit more toward the end and with a surge of the grapefruit hop flavor, a rather crisp and nicely hopped flavor is left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. Both are rather nice for the style and create a great easy drinking feel overall.
Overall – This is a fantastic brew for the style and the price. Pound for pound, this brew really packs a punch. It is a very good go too; that is for sure.

Lager body with a hint of hop flavor at the end. Nice well balanced lager, however a little boring. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2014
This poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was of grassy and earthy hops and light pale malt. Like strain with a handfull of buffering hops thrown in
