2012 Selinsgrove Beer and Wine Festival.
An exceptional light beer. Very attractive, but with little nose at all.
I am from Pennsylvania and love a good Pennsylvania beer. Goes down smooth and very refreshing.

12oz bottle. Poured a yellow color with an averaged sized head. Grainy and really not too much going on here. MarkSachon (1044) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2015
12 oz bottle from the 24 count case. Just a shadow of its full self, this offers very little to fans of the good old regular Straub. Luvystypotables (2039) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 20, 2015
Typical lager aroma of grains and yeast. Gold color light carbonation not much of a head. Light body with a clean grain taste and a short lasting grainy palate. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - MAY 17, 2014
BA Transfer -
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance - A very pale straw yellow color with white head that fades very fast. Not a great look for a brew, but standard for a light I would say.
Smell - Not a whole lot of odor, but a it of corn sweetness followed by a bit of maltiness.
Taste - The taste was actually more pronounced then what would have been originally expected. A sweetness from the corn and a bit of maltiness, but again more pronounced then the average light beer.
Mouthfeel - Much thicker then expected for the 3.2 % abv with a good level of carbonation.
Overall - A bit better for then the average light beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw gold with a nice one finger foamy white head. The nose is mostly corn with a light crackery maltiness and minimal hoppiness. The flavor is pretty thin, watery corn with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Fairly clean on the finish though. Light bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Not too bad for a light beer, much better than most macro versions. Chudwick (3315) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - FEB 23, 2013
12oz bottle from a flipping wine bar. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with no head thanks to the wine server and he even took the bottle with him. Tastes like a pilsner made love with a light beer. Reminds me of burger classic light or goldmine. Weak taste and light overall. At least it’s not wine. Shit my pinky is arching out. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle. Extremely light sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Malt and grass flavored water. Light carbonated body. beerme31 (692) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear golden thin white head. Sweet bready malt aroma, hint of grass. Medium sweet taste. Light body, light stickiness in texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. As far as light lagers go this one is pretty good. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 18, 2012
This is just watered down Straub which is pretty difficult to do i would imagine.
