[cask at the Hanging Bat, Edinburgh] Obvious choice for a launch beer! Deep, mahogany brown beer with a slightly cream-coloured head. Quite fruity on the nose – good mix of bramble and blackcurrant flavours, roasted chocolate malt. More of the malt on the finish, before the rich fruit comes out again. Dry finish. Very nice indeed imdownthepub (15333) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2012
Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’12. Ruby brown with off white head. Sweet fruity, malty type beer, thinner than a full porter, a little wine like and grapey. Malty finish tending toward dryness. Reasonable. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2009
Cask Stillage from the Outside Marquee at the Prince Of Wales, Foxfield 03/10/2009
Floral malt aroma. Mid brown coloured fruity and a little rich on the palate with some dryness in a crisp and bitter malt finish.
