Maybe I’m nostalgic because this was my first beer. Stroh’s is noticeably heavier than the average American lager. It’s a little more bitter too. It had a distinctive character when it was still brewed in Detroit but it’s not quite the same since the brewing has been contracted through SAB-Miller. Stroh’s is getting hard to find.
From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Strohs Signature". Clear golden color with small bubble carbonation. Small white head. Crisp, sweet malt aroma has a slight hop background. Decent balance. Dry hop finish. Highly carbonated. irishfist18 (15) - - MAR 25, 2017

Cut and paste all these mass produced beers would have a hard time telling any of them apart Chudwick (3237) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - MAY 26, 2016
Can - corn and light grass. Can wait to have the other 14 while camping and canoeing. Gonna be awesome. Bricks (1131) - Delaware, USA - MAY 13, 2016
It’s quite typical for domestic swill. A little corny, but has a decent amount of malt to balance it out. It’s actually not bad at all.

Memory rating...not good by any means but drinkable if on a budget or a cheap buzz while on the lake... markas101 (2468) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - FEB 7, 2016
Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI via Plum Market. Pale yellow. Sweet pepper aroma. Subdued honey spice flavour, corn and more sweetness in the finish. I think it’s one of the better cheap ones. bubblehouse (1540) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 7, 2015
One of the better cheap can beers. When you have to rough it though this is the way to do it. Eurlager (28) - New York, USA - MAY 3, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2015 Well, Pabst BC owns Stroh’s, but Strph’s is better tasting than PBR, in my opinion, and costs a few dollars less than PBR, for a 12pk. Also, it beats any of the BMC beers.

Terrible stuff. But not more terrible than wierque. Drank this to keep myself awake during a boring dive safety video in Utila, Honduras. The local Honduran lager is better than this by a long shot, and that’s not saying a lot. Can.
