COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied American lager unlike most, Stroh’s beer sports a craft brew pedigree. Enriched with hop varieties usually found only in craft brews, Stroh’s lager offers a distinct and distinguished taste with a preponderance of Cascade and Willamette hops from the great Northwest. Pungent and pleasing, Stroh’s stands apart from the usual lager taste profile in flavor, but not in alcohol.

Just because a beer doesn’t taste as strong as toasted toenails doesn’t mean it’s not good. Very tasty beer that is very smooth to drink.

In my opinion, Stroh's is the best of the national brands when it comes to premium American pilsners. This beer has a deeper malt flavor, almost caramelized, with noticable hops character and flavor. Just look at the results from the Great American Beer Festival over the years. Stroh's has consistently been rated at or near the top of the pile. Why would the masses continue to pay higher prices for Bud or Miller? Stroh's is far superior to both in every category. I'm sad to say that this beer could well lose its extra character after Pabst moves all production to Miller breweries on a contract basis. Say goodbye to fire brewing and hello Miller flavor. How sad! This was once one of the greatest American breweries. I still love Stroh's for nostalgia's sake. One of my favorite everyday beers in college and of all time.

An excellent American white trash beer. I was totally impressed. Not as good as Old Mil, PBR, Budweiser or Schmidt but it is very acceptable swill. Way better than Stroh’s Light.
