Cunningham (8456) - Halden, NORWAY - JUN 6, 2017
Dark nutty color with a thick tan head. Solid lacing. Rich Ardbeg aroma. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation level. Mellow sweetness. Smoke and fire. Ardbeg o hoi. They really hit spot on to make Ardbeg a beer. The taste is really similar.
[On tap at Ardbeg Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden]

Manchester United - Ajax 2-0

TBone (18359) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 8, 2014
Tap at Ardbeg Embassy. Dark brown color, good creamy beige head. Aroma is peaty, Islay whiskey like. Medium-bodied. Peaty, Islay-whiskey flavor. Simple but straightforward whiskey beer.

joergen (29353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2013
Draught at Ardbeg Embassy.
Black coloured with a huge off-white head.
Snoked aroma of peat and earth with roasted notes.
Smoked flavour of earth, peat and whisky.
Smoked finish.
Too much peat.

Rune (13643) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 28, 2013
150ml draught, 5.9% abv, at Ardbeg Embassy. Dark brown body, unclear. Tan-coloured head that stays for a while. Delicious aroma of peated mals, like my favouite smoked whisky. The taste does not quite follow suit, of course, but has still got a good peaty touch to it, woody dry, added by semi-sweet malts. Fine bodied. Very nice (Midsommarafton in Stockholm, 21.06.2013).

7stern (659) - Bromma, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2013 Dark, almost black. Smokey aroma. Also smokey taste together with distinct sourness. Could have been nice but too harsh and unbalanced.

On tap at Ardberg Embassy - duh! Hazy deep amber beer, big cream coloured head. TCP nose. Softish palate. mild minerally carbonation. Taste folllows the nose but much more mellow. Band aids and minerals and a touch off spice finishes things up.

AndySnow (8163) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - MAY 9, 2013
Draught at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm. Black colour with a brown head. Aroma is of course heavy with peats seeing that it is Ardbeg inspired. More of a whisky smokey aroma than the normal smoked beer aroma. Flavour has the same peated tone to it. A subtle whisky peat.

larsniclas (7234) - Billdal, SWEDEN - APR 19, 2013
Draught at Ardbeg Embassy
Dark brown with a beige head.
Very smoked aroma; tar, leather, peat.
Rather sweet flavour. Liquorice, leather and peat. Salty salmiak as well.

gnoff (11065) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 15, 2012
Draught at Ardbeg Embassy on November 14, 2012.
Very dark brown to black color, fluffy lasting brown head. Peaty, smoke, whisky like nice scent. Peat, sweet, smoke, mineral, a bit cloying taste. Difficult to drink fast or a lot of. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness. Salty aftertaste.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 22, 2012
[email protected] Embassy, Stockholm. Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is like havingardbeg in your glass, heavy peated smoke, wood, some mild smoked wood in it as well. Flavour is rather similar with a big peater aftertaste. Good sipper instead of having multiple session beers.
