Hazy gold beer. Really nice palate, just the right amount of crispness, refreshment and a hint of dryness. Creamy malt base. Nice fruit from a light mix of orange, lemon and whispers of apple and lime. A little bitterness and a carbonated bit at the end. One of the best 5.0% beers I’ve had in awhile. Short lived frothy white head.
(Bottle) Pours hazy yellow. The aroma is quite limey with clear hop notes. Light and mild pepper spicy. Bit floral and hints of wheat. The flavour is light sweet to dry, light bitter and tiny acidic. Mild citric and spicy. Light cracker-like. Quite doughy. The mouthfeel is light, clean and tart with a light crisp carbonation. Dry finish. Light bodied. goozen (4150) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 20, 2010

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Night of the Gaylords. harrisoni (19398) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2010
Murky yellow brown with a thin white head. Nice sherbety and floral hoppage, very perfumed and lots of spice. In fact it’s floral as hell. Faint bitterness in the finish. An unusual take on a wit, if not one that’s going to set the world alight.
Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Hazy very pale gold colour, with lasting thin white head. Decent saisony wheat beer. Some soap. It’s ok fonefan (51538) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2010

Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate lemon - lime, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
From SMÖF, 2009.
Cloudy yellow colour with low foam. Heavy, perfumy aroma that just seems to much for a Witbier. There’s vanilla, choriander and orangepeel, but the maltiness seems to be too much for the style. Spicy flavour with choriander seeds, bit of orange peel and lot of residual sugars. All in all a spicy Belgian beer, with rich, sweet body. Vanilla stand out. Low bitterness. Kind of an Imperial Wit here and really tasty!
