Bulgarian brewed version drank in Romania. Pours greenish yellow. Sweet pear aroma. The taste is very sweet apple with pear after taste. This i flavour apple cider so not perry. It's also closer to an alcopop than anything else. Shit. Still better than some of the other flavours.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with nice bubbles. Aroma is of ripe, sweet pears. Body is medium, bitter-sweet. Taste is of sweet fruit. Finish is long, bitter-sweet. OK perry.

440ml can from local shop, chilled. Pale yellow colour, white foam head and sugary pear aroma, some sulphur. Taste is sweet pear, sugary with some tangy apple notes. Thin watery mouthfeel, medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering sweet finish. OK, abit artificial.

Can. Pale yellow color. Aroma of slightly medicinal and herbal apple and pear. Taste is similar.

edsspoon (900) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2014
Can - pours light green with a white head. Aroma of apples, dust and damp with some hints of artificial pear. Taste of pear and sugar syrup. Super sweet. Light body. Pretty poor.

Usual commercial cider with sugar and sugar. Bit of artificial pear and sugar again. Drinkable, average, unentertaining.

Pours out in a clear vanilla, light golden colour with medium body. Aroma of sweet pears and herbs. Taste of ripe pears, apples, straw and caramel. Easy and nice to drink, yet too dull and boring.

Can. It’s the midweekend- let’s get the party started with 69 pence of pure quality from B&M. White gold with no head. Peardrop, light white wine acidity, some pleasant cinnamon in the aroma. Sweet, slightly sherbety peardrop flavour without off notes. Just the merest smear of dryness to prevent things getting cloying. When I started boozing around the pubs of Coventry as a 14 year old 3 pints of Strongbow or Woodpecker was my tipple. This might be the first time I’ve sampled either since and I can’t deny I’m experiencing a little warm fuzzy ripple of nostalgia. BONUS POINT.

Lightly golden in colour, clear with a medium aroma. Not the most prevalent of pear tastes but it is evident.

SarkyNorthener (4709) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2013
[email protected] Broadway, walsall. Very pale yellow Perry. Aroma of pear and vanilla. Taste is sweet pear and artificial sweetner. Lots of fuzz. It’s ok on a warm day, just too sweet.
