500 ml bottle, from NETTO. ABV is 5.6%. Brown colour, huge off-white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity American hops. The flavour has also notes of fruity and piney American hops, while the malt profile is dry and relatively subdued, with some biscuity and caramel hints. Nice enough to drink - by style it is more of an American amber ale than a typical brown ale. meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - MAY 31, 2012

Very hoppy aroma, like a black IPA. Brown, beige head, fair lace. Light sweet, hint of toffee and caramel, bitter, even more bitter finish, light grassy. Not too strong in flavours. Oily yet still a bit watery.
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2012 0.5 bottle. Very strong, sweet fruity aroma resembling mango and tangerines. Dark scarlet liquid with a big off-white as though tanned head. Fine taste with predominant fruity, mango sweetness, and accompanying bitterness which gains strength with time. I would categorize the body as being between medium and full with an indefinite indication to the latter. Texture is best described as thick and carbonation as below average. Finish is a bit more astringent than the taste itself thus balancing the beer slightly and leaving consumer ready for another sip. A very good beer, marginally too bitter finish which substantially contrasts with the sweet taste and aroma but due to the same reason also drinkable and not syrupy. brnandersen (4026) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2012
0,5 l. bottle from Netto. Clear, dark amber colour with a light tanned head. Fruity aroma with hops, caramel malts with a faint roasted note. Taste is light bitter with caramel malts adding some sweetness. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft carbonated with an astringent, bitter finish complemented with sweetness from the malts. Pretty much a hopped-up version of the classic brown ale style. Why not brew a good IPA with a solid malt profile instead? Still a nice beer, anyway.

A pretty good brown ale with a good taste of caramel and also a very nice bitterness. Brown in color with a white head. Yorker (2021) - Herning, DENMARK - APR 21, 2012
50 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark amber with a tiny amount of sediment and a large off-white head that slowly fades. Aroma is citrusy and piney hops as well as some malt. Taste is more bitter than anything else but there are hints of hops and toasted malt. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2012

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Hazy amber beer, big pale tan head. Semi crisp. A little toffee malt. Nice bitter hops - piney with bitter citrus. Bitter linger. Nice.
Fresh aroma and flavor of hops with floral tone and hints of tangy fruits such as peach and grapefruit. In addition to the hops are elements of sweet malt, which unfortunately gives the flavor and finish a sweet and sticky tone that is not so nice. Otherwise, a perfectly good beer! It’s unclear dark brown with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, licorice and hops. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, licorice, hops - it’s stout-like and nice, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.
