UPDATED: SEP 22, 2012 (33 cl bottle from Toft Vin; BBD: April 2014) Pours a clear copper with medium, tan head that fades quickly leaving impressive lace. Aroma is malty in a way I can only describe as thick with .. bitter notes that are not roasted but sooner sprucy or resiny and fresh. Thick, oily texture with medium carbonation, full body and an intense, well-balanced finish of malt and hops. Taste is deeply amber - sweetness playing up to the bitterness well. Girlfriend says: "It’s quite a dark taste for an amber." olsvammel (7220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 21, 2012

18-JUN-2015, bottle @home.
Amber, hazy with lasting tan head.
Very hoppy aroma with grape fruit and pine. Taste the same with a lot of malt as well. Bread, cramel. Orange peel, spice. Dry hopped, clearly.
A bit tired hops but still I like a nice red ale. Medium+ body and carbonation. Nice.

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque dark amber with a creamy beige head leaving some lacework. Sweet caramel aroma, a little nutty with a solid blend of hops up front. Very rich body, lots of overripe fruit, again caramel and a whiff of phenols. Solid bitterness. Nice one.110512 tiong (7198) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAY 12, 2012

Pours a hazy dark amber colour with a white head. Aroma of curry, toasted malts, nuts and some hops. Flavour of toasted malts, nuts, strong American hops and some sweet kiwi. Medium bodied, rough mouthfeel and a bitter, malty and fruity finish. Nice one.
Dark ruby, off-white head. Aroma of fresh American hops, red berries and some dark malt sweetness. Surprisingly well balanced. Long and medium bitter aftertaste of dark berries. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 28, 2015
Bottled. Reddish brown colour with a mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some slight herbal and bready notes along with some fruity and mild sour citrusy notes. Flavour is bready and caramel malts along with some plum, fruity and floral hops as well as some slight notes of alcohol as well.
