Clear dark black - red brown colour with a large to huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dusty malt, moderate yeasty, licorice. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt, licorice, salty, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy - soft.
From tap at Ølbaren. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Toasted malty, overripe fruity and light yeasty. Vague vanilla, chocolate and fruity, strange, seems slight off. Dry malty finish. Ungstrup (37330) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2013
Cask at Bishop Arms, Copenhagen. A dark red-brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, straw, moldy grass, and hints of chocolate, leading to a dry finish. joergen (27984) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2012
Draught at Ølbaren.
Dark brown coloured with a creamy beige head.
Roasted aroma of caramel, smoke and dark chocolate.
Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, nuts and smoke with notes of dark chocolate and vinous notes.
Sweet and roasted finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy reddish brown with a lively light brown head. Lively and dissipating as a soda pop head. Medium body, very, very lively nose - the kind that almost gets in your nose. Some sweetish roast but also some yeast and phenol character. Roasted malt bitter finish. Not a bad beer, but has some flaws in this incarnation. 140313

Opaque dark brown beer with a big fluffy tan head. Airy dry palate with fine carbonation. Brown malts with a little tang. Trace of Camp Coffee. Finishes dry and airy. An over carbonated plain porter. Meh!
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark reddish brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. Heavy carbonation. 120113 saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle @ fonefan berliner weisse, cream ale multistate tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are dominated by prickling from the carbonation so it can be hard to distinguish. But behind the carbonation some notes of fruits, roast malt, caramel and hops. chrisv10 (17329) - DENMARK - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle @ FOneFan, 7%. Dark brown/red with small diminishing beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, berries, yeast, chocolate and vegetable. Flavour is roasted malts, over carbonated, berries, yeast, chocolate, little liquorice, little acid and medium sweet. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2014
Bottle. More or less black body, topped by a dense, creamy beige head of moderate size. Lots of vanilla in the aroma, roasted malts, coffee and a little sourish hint. Some sweetness in the flavor, but it’s quite dry, with lots of carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and some sourish maltyness in the flavor. Full-bodied and lightly oily on the palate. Lasting finish with roasted malts, chocolate and vanilla. Quite decent, but sort of messy. 140608
